From small beginnings in the Bay of Plenty VISMART FOUR WHEELS car hire in Kenya started its life as Vismart Africa Travel. Established by Vincent Wasike Bedube, he identified a need for the everyday person to be able access car rental in Nairobi Kenya at affordable prices. At the time VISMART FOUR WHEELS was originally conceived the car rental in Kenya market was highly regulated and dominated by a few international brands. The Vismart car rental brand helped changed this scenario by offering late model pre-owned Japanese import vehicles at affordable prices. Endearingly the name came from Wa-Dube 30-year-old wife who piped up with the suggestion from the back of one of the first fleet vehicles, a Mazda CX5 SUV vehicle.
